What

The Dolphins Morning Enrichment Program is Tanque Verde Lutheran Church Preschool’s opportunity for all enrolled children to enjoy more time to discover and learn. Your child will have the opportunity to join other children to find out more about our world, God, their friends and neighbors. There will be many opportunities to progress in their cognitive learning in this class.

Who

All children currently enrolled in the Three (Bunnies), Four (Giraffes), and Pre-K (Owls) classes can take advantage of this special morning enrichment program. Children in our Two (Lambs) class, who turn 3 during the school year, can also attend after their third birthday. They must be potty trained and separate easily.  On your child’s 3rd birthday they will receive a certificate for a free day of Dolphins! Children in the afternoon classes can attend on their school days before going to their scheduled class. Children in the morning classes can attend any morning they are not in their regular scheduled class.  This gives all children ages 3-5 more opportunities for class time experiences.

When

There is a Dolphin session every day (Monday-Friday) that preschool is in session.

Where

The Dolphin room is located in the Church Child Care room. This room is south of the Education Building. Bring your child up the 3 stairs, directly to the Dolphin room at 8:30 a.m.  If your child is in an afternoon class that day, you can bring him/her to the Dolphin room and we will take them to their afternoon class.  (Lunch Bunch requires an additional charge.)

Why

This class offers more opportunities for science, social studies, art, music, painting, dancing. This class allows more flexibility for families that need or want more morning class time. Preschool enrichment activities include more cognitive opportunities, socialization, and development of small and large motor skills.

How

Space is limited (15 children per day) and on a first come first serve basis. To reserve a space for your child in the Dolphins Enrichment Class, stop by or call the office, 749-1738.  You will be billed for the days your child attends the Dolphins. You must cancel by 7:30 a.m. the morning of your reservation, otherwise you will be charged for that day. A monthly bill will be sent home with your child. You may include your Dolphins payment along with your tuition check if you so desire.
